Connor "cali" Alicaya founded Emphasis as Game Changers Report in April of 2022, aiming to bring more coverage to a scene he thought was underrepresented in media. He has since written and edited a majority of the articles published under Emphasis. 

cali is currently a student at Cal State Fullerton, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism. 

In his spare time he enjoys basketball, volleyball, Pokemon (especially Cobalion), and Monster Hunter.

Kate “kdonut” Chang has been writing for Emphasis since March of 2023. She joined the team to support marginalized communities in esports, and provides coverage on Valorant Game Changers events. 

kdonut is a proud alumna of Tufts University and works in Boston, MA in Alzheimer’s disease clinical research.

Her hobbies include playing the piano, squash (the sport, not the vegetable), and spending time with her rabbit, Fiji.

Radoslav ''rane'' Buzev is a 17-year-old e-Sports journalist aiming to bring more attention to the marginalized scenes of gaming. They've been writing under Emphasis since June of 2023 and have published numerous articles since then.

rane is currently a student majoring in Languages and History, writing for their school's newspaper in the meantime.

Other than playing and talking about VALORANT, they enjoy crocheting, cosplaying, playing the guitar and ... sleeping.

K-D "keidyolo" Alcantara is a writer for Emphasis, wanting to learn more and cover a scene that she was interested in through her love of VALORANT. 

K-D is currently a student at NJIT, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
