A Familiar Face Returns to the Rebellion

Shopify Rebellion, following a somewhat disappointing fourth place Series 2 finish, look to secure a second trip to the Game Changers Championship in as many years with a strong performance in North America’s Series 3.

The rebels currently hold second place in NA’s circuit points standings, with 100 points, ten ahead of Complexity GX3, and 60 behind Version1.

Following the departure of bENITA in April of 2023, Shopify brought in free agent cbui in June, around a month ahead of Series 2.

Later in the year, Shopify announced the departure of founding member Lorri, opening up a spot on the roster only one day before the Neon Dream Invitational.

They would take second place in the Neon Dream Invitational, losing to the newly-retooled Misfits Black. However, viewers would note that Shopify would compete with a familiar face on the roster, panini, who left the team in May of 2022, playing for Complexity GX3, and more recently, FaZe Clan.

However, it seems panini’s tenure with Shopify will begin again, as they have announced her arrival as the fifth member of their roster heading towards Series 3, which kicks off in two weeks from the time of writing.
